WHAT IS CHEMICAL PEEL RECOVERY LIKE?
Recovery time will vary per person depending on the strength of the chemical peel, the duration it is left on the skin, and the goal of the treatment. You can expect your skin to be red and swollen for light chemical peels. It can take 3 to 4 days for your skin to heal. During recovery, your skin may peel and flake for up to one week after your treatment. Overall, recovery from a superficial peel is quick, and downtime is minimal.
If you receive a medium chemical peel, your skin will also be red and swollen for the first couple of days after treatment. During this time, it may blister, scab, and crust. As your skin continues to heal, you may experience flaking and peeling. On average, recovery can take up to two weeks before revealing glowing, healthy skin.

What Does Chemical Peel Recovery Look Like?
